Gourmet Maisons means Gourmet Homes, but with a French twist.

Delicious food is a way of life in France where excellent ingredients paired with skillful techniques make even the simplest of meals… gourmet! Our goal is to bring this way of life in to the home, by teaching the skills to make your house a Gourmet Maison.

About the Founder

After six years as a management consultant in New York City, Alexis made the trek back west to her home state of California. Despite many tiny apartments with even tinier kitchens in the city, Alexis constantly challenged herself to be a better cook. She wanted to improve upon the culinary techniques first taught to her by her French Basque mother and grandmother.

With dreams of starting her own company built on her obsession with food, Alexis enrolled in a professional culinary program at CulinaryLab to deepen her knowledge. Her culinary education culminated in the kitchen at the five-star Studio Restaurant at Montage Laguna Beach.

Armed with excellent training and lots of culinary knowledge, Alexis created Gourmet Maisons to empower home cooks in the comfort of their own kitchens.
